Is is unfortunate that your search committee could not come up with a flower that is blooming at this time.
Hopefully in the future the committee will be able to find some more timely Wednesday flowers; however,
I realize that with their very high standards that is sometimes hard to do.
Yes, competition to be recognized as a Wednesday’s flower is intense. We regret to have to turn down many outstanding applicants. Judging is based on totality of the circumstances, not just timeliness.
