The Archpriest of Talavera is the authorial voice within Alonso Martínez de Toledo’s book now known as The Archpriest of Talavera. It’s alternate titled Corbacho o Reprobación del amor mundano. That book was written in Spanish and finished in 1438. It’s a seminal work in the literature of men’s sexed protest.
