Livy

Livy (Titus Livius) was a Roman historian who lived from about 60 BGC to 17 GC. His only surviving work is Ab Urbe Condita Libri (Books from the Foundation of the City), commonly known as Livy’s History of Rome. The work narrates Roman history from before the founding of Rome to Livy’s own time.
